Job Description

Join us at the Newly Renovated Homewood Suites Pittsburgh Southpointe.

Are you someone who likes to stay active, take pride in a clean environment, and support a great team? We’re looking for a dependable Houseperson / Lobby Attendant to help keep our hotel looking its best and to support our housekeeping team and guests.

What You’ll Do --

  • Support the housekeeping team by collecting soiled linens and restocking supplies
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, restrooms, lobby spaces, and back-of-house areas
  • Assist with guest requests such as delivering extra towels, pillows, cribs, or other items
  • Vacuum, dust, polish furniture, and clean floors and common areas
  • Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas, including garage and driveway spaces
  • Assist with carpet shampooing and floor care (training provided)
  • Put away incoming supplies and keep storage areas organized
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Dependable and able to follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards
  • Willingness to stay active and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Prior hotel or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required — we’ll train the right person!

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent bending, standing, walking, and reaching
  • Ability to perform cleaning and light maintenance tasks safely

High school education preferred. Additional language skills are a plus.
