Join Our Team as a Houseperson:
At Cambridge Suites Hotel, first impressions matter. Our public spaces set the tone for every guest stay. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Houseperson to help maintain our lobby, public areas, fitness centre, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas to the highest standard.
If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming and enjoy staying active throughout your shift, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby, including glass, wood, stainless steel, floors, and exterior perimeter areas
Mop, vacuum, and spot-clean lobby floors and guest room corridors
Clean and sanitize lobby and fitness centre washrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
Maintain the fitness centre, including equipment cleaning and towel restocking
Clean elevators, stairwells, parking levels (P1 and P2), and elevator lobbies
Maintain restaurant and meeting room spaces, including floors, glass, furniture, and fixtures
Keep staff areas, garbage rooms, and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized
Assist with carpet shampooing in guest rooms as required
Restock and label cleaning carts and storage areas
Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards observed during shift
Follow all safety procedures while performing heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing tasks
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean environments
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
A team-oriented and cooperative attitude
Ability to perform physical duties including prolonged standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Availability for morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
Previous hotel or cleaning experience is an asset but not required
