Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Houseperson is the backbone of our housekeeping team. In this role, you will support housekeeping attendants and help ensure the hotel runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for upholding the hotel’s cleanliness standards across all public areas and housekeeping pantries.
  • Ensure that inventory levels are appropriately maintained and replenished, including linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities such as tea and coffee.
  • Deliver requested items promptly to guest rooms and foster positive, professional, and approachable interactions with our guests.
  • Report any maintenance issues without delay.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a seamless and flawless guest experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Availability to work a range of shifts across a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays and event days.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Confident and articulate communication and network skills.
  • A genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
