The Holiday Inn Conference Center in Valdosta, GA is dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and a clean, welcoming environment. We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Houseman to join our hospitality team and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.

Position Summary
The Houseman plays a key support role in housekeeping operations by ensuring public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. This team member also assists room attendants and provides excellent customer service to hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness center, etc.)
- Assist room attendants with removing trash, dirty linens, and restocking supplies
- Set up and break down meeting rooms and conference spaces as needed
- Respond promptly to guest requests and work to ensure a positive guest experience
- Transport clean/dirty linens to and from the laundry area
- Perform light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and reporting repair needs
- Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
- Support the housekeeping management team with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Current and valid Driver's License
