Key Responsibilities of a Houseman

• Ensure common areas such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained, upholding the resort's high standards.
• Assist the housekeeping team with tasks such as moving furniture, stocking supplies, and managing inventory.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department for swift resolution.
• Support guest requests by providing amenities, delivering items, or addressing inquiries efficiently.
• Adhere to and promote safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Handle cleaning equipment responsibly to ensure longevity and optimal operation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial role within a hotel or resort setting is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently while embracing teamwork within a diverse environment.
• Effective communication skills to ensure both team and guest needs are met efficiently.
