We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Housekeeping Team Leader who combines exceptional operational expertise with outstanding people leadership.

This role is critical to maintaining the highest cleanliness standards throughout the hotel while building a highly engaged, motivated and performance-driven housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, equipment, surface care and stain-removal techniques, while also possessing the leadership skills required to coach, develop and retain a large and diverse workforce.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Ensure full implementation and continuous compliance with all hotel and brand housekeeping standards across guestrooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.
• Lead daily housekeeping operations through active supervision, inspection, coaching and follow-up.
• Serve as the department's subject matter expert for cleaning methodologies, chemical applications, equipment usage and surface care.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex cleaning challenges, including specialist treatment of stains, surface damage and sanitation-related issues.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain exceptional cleanliness scores and guest satisfaction.
• Develop, mentor and train housekeeping team members, creating a culture of accountability, learning and operational excellence.
• Build strong engagement within the department, fostering a positive working environment where team members feel respected, supported and motivated.
• Actively support employee retention through effective communication, recognition and people-focused leadership.
• Ensure efficient management of departmental administration, including scheduling, productivity monitoring, inventories, training records, compliance documentation and operational reporting.
• Optimize labor productivity, resource allocation and supply utilization while maintaining service excellence.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership experience within housekeeping operations in internationally branded hotels or high-standard hospitality environments.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing large housekeeping teams in fast-paced operational environments.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning chemicals, machinery, cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and surface maintenance requirements.
• Strong expertise in identifying and resolving difficult cleaning, hygiene and maintenance-related challenges.
• Track record of improving quality standards, operational consistency and team performance.
• Exceptional coaching, training and people development capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance operational priorities and departmental administration.
• Highly visible, hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
