Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager to maintain and monitor a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms whilst working within the pre-established standards of operation.

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

  • overseeing room attendants in their daily duties, ensuring all standards are followed at all times
  • responding to special guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner;
  • conducting daily pre-shift meetings and inspecting associates as they are working, giving guidance to ensure that deficiencies are corrected
  • leading, training and supervising room attendants and other team members to ensure their performance is up to the standards required
  • inspecting rooms to ensure these are ready in time for guests arrival

Furthermore, the ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • fluency in English;
  • preferably one to two years previous housekeeping experience
  • ability to work under pressure;
  • a can-do attitude with a very good eye for detail
  • able to work shift duties, including evenings, weekends, and / or holidays
