Job Description

Why Work at Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City?

At Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City, we don’t just offer jobs. We create opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive in a vibrant, people-first hospitality environment. Located near the upscale Nichols Hills district, our distinctive hotel combines contemporary style, warm service, and panoramic views of the Oklahoma City skyline. Curators help bring memorable experiences to life throughout the hotel, from Ember Modern American Tavern and our inviting guest spaces to elegant event venues, including the Grand Ballroom. With the energy of Oklahoma City just minutes away, Renaissance Waterford offers the perfect setting to build your hospitality career while creating meaningful moments for every guest.

Renaissance Waterford is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor.

You should join our team if you believe...

  • That cleanliness, comfort, and care are essential to creating an exceptional hotel experience.
  • Housekeeping plays a critical role in making every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
  • That the details matter — from spotless guestrooms and fresh linens to organized public spaces and well-maintained back-of-house areas.
  • That great supervisors lead by example, support their teams, communicate clearly, and take pride in the work.
  • That strong collaboration between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, and leadership helps keep the hotel running smoothly.
  • That every clean, comfortable room is an opportunity to create a memorable guest experience.

You’re a great fit for this role if you love...

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting Housekeeping associates throughout the day.
  • Helping determine daily work assignments for room attendants and support staff based on occupancy, staffing guides, room status, and business needs.
  • Monitoring the progress of Housekeeping associates to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned according to company standards and completed in a timely manner.
  • Inspecting guestrooms, public areas, offices, supply closets, and other hotel spaces to ensure they are clean, attractive, safe, and ready for guests.
  • Supporting training and coaching efforts so associates understand company policies, cleaning standards, safety procedures, and service expectations.
  • Making sure associates are properly clocked in through the time and attendance system and report to work in the required uniform.
  • Providing feedback on staff performance to the Director of Housekeeping and assisting with team development.
  • Helping maintain Housekeeping payroll within departmental budget guidelines and ensuring daily and weekly reports are completed accurately.
  • Training and reinforcing the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and other cleaning aids in accordance with hotel safety guidelines.
  • Checking housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure they are properly maintained, safely used, and available when needed.
  • Scheduling and coordinating special cleaning projects for room attendants and inspectors.
  • Coordinating linen operations, including daily, weekly, and monthly inventories; clean linen distribution; soiled linen collection; storage room organization; and proper cart loading and security.
  • Partnering with Front Office to ensure ready rooms are communicated consistently, with the goal of reporting ready rooms by 10:00 a.m. and throughout the day, with all rooms reported by 4:00 p.m. on a regular basis.
  • Following and enforcing key security procedures to help protect our guests, associates, and property.
  • Responding to housekeeping requests from guests and management in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Stepping in to perform Housekeeper duties when staffing levels require additional support.
  • Being willing to jump in wherever needed — because great Housekeeping leadership means supporting the team, not simply supervising from the sidelines.

We’re excited to have you join us because...

  • You understand that Housekeeping is both an operationally essential department and an important part of the guest experience.
  • You know how to balance cleanliness, quality, efficiency, safety, and service in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • You can provide clear direction while remaining approachable, supportive, and professional.
  • You have a strong eye for detail and take pride in identifying and addressing issues before they become guest concerns.
  • You are comfortable coaching associates in the moment, recognizing strong performance, and providing constructive feedback when improvement is needed.
  • You can organize people, priorities, rooms, supplies, and daily projects while keeping the operation moving.
  • You understand the importance of accurate room status and consistent communication with the Front Office.
  • You can work collaboratively with Housekeeping leadership and other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations.
  • You bring dependability, organization, flexibility, and a positive, service-focused attitude to every shift.
  • You believe leadership means showing up for your team, helping when needed, and setting the standard through your own actions.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required or preferred based on business needs.
  • Hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning standards, public area cleanliness, laundry and linen processes, and hotel safety procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with associates, managers, guests, and other hotel departments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, motivate, and support Housekeeping associates.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a genuine aptitude for guest service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work throughout guestrooms, public areas, offices, laundry areas, supply closets, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull linens, supplies, trash, cleaning equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Ability to safely operate and work around housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment based on job responsibilities and applicable safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment while maintaining professionalism, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
