About the Role

Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping team and uphold the exceptional standards of presentation and comfort that define one of Australia's most celebrated luxury lodge experiences.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms, suites and public areas are maintained to the highest standard. You will work closely with the broader lodge team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the daily workflow of the Housekeeping team
  • Ensuring all rooms, suites and public spaces meet Beckons' luxury presentation standards
  • Conducting room inspections and quality checks prior to guest arrival
  • Training, mentoring and developing team members
  • Managing housekeeping supplies, equipment and inventory
  • Liaising with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly
  • Upholding health, safety and hygiene standards throughout the property

About You

You are a detail-oriented and organised hospitality professional with a genuine pride in your work and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a housekeeping supervisory or senior role, ideally within a luxury lodge or hotel environment
  • Strong attention to detail and high personal presentation standards
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
