Housekeeping Supervisor (Full-Time) - (260002EB)
POSITION PURPOSE: Assists Director of Housekeeping with operations and management of the Housekeeping department to ensure quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that all standards of cleanliness are consistently met by all associates throughout the department Assists with the daily operation of the Housekeeping department and acts as manager on duty for the department as applicable. Assist with monitoring performance and adherence to policies/procedures. Inform Director of Housekeeping on any issues. Assist with performance management.Assist with scheduling of room assignments to ensure proper coverage.Ensure all staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.Assists Director of Housekeeping with administrative responsibilities and complete written reports.Assists with scheduling of staffInspects work performance of associates to ensure standards are being met.Assists with Lost and Found, including packing and mailing of packages.Help control expenses and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.Participates in the promotion of safety and security in assigned areas.Performs manual duties of subordinates as necessary to cover temporary staff shortages.Ensures furniture, facilities, and equipment are maintained and in good repair.Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all guest and associate requests/issues.Ensures appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms and appearance are maintained.Represents the hotel with professionalism and decorum.Make recommendations regarding improved methods and procedures so as to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction.Attends all required Housekeeping Department and other meetings.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
