SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor ("Supervisor/a de Housekeeping") develops and supervises the housekeeping staff to ensure the highest level of professionalism and gracious service is offered to our guests. Trains and coaches housekeeping personnel in adhering to the hotel's standards of cleanliness and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms using the Total Score Inspection Report
- Inspect and release guest rooms using a tablet system as needed.
- Train, coach, and support Room Attendants and Housemen to ensure adherence to hotel cleaning standards and quality SOPs.
- Inspect Housemen’s work daily and provide feedback, including formal reviews weekly.
- Prepare and oversee VIP rooms, showrooms, and priority rooms, ensuring completion.
- Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks, including general and window cleaning.
- Ensure all occupied rooms are serviced and vacant room statuses are accurate, report discrepancies promptly.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and policy violations.
- Assist Room Attendants during peak periods or multiple rush requests.
- Maintain accurate inspection, training, and daily task documentation.
- Conduct Safety and Wellness Tailgate meetings as needed.
- Ensure Lost and Found items are properly handled and documented.
- Support inventory counts of housekeeping linens and supplies.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Previous similar position is preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Creole and/or French a plus.
- Familiarity with quality standards, brand standards, and inspections
- Ability to conduct room inspections and provide coaching feedback
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and internal departments
- Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to be poised under pressure with continued smiles and maintain a highly diplomatic attitude with challenging guests and under stressful circumstances.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift.
