Housekeeping Supervisor | Daintree QLD

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Silky Oaks Lodge, an award-winning luxury eco-lodge in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure our guest suites and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and conduct regular room inspections
• Train, coach and develop housekeeping team members
• Manage par stock of guest supplies, linens and cleaning products
• Assist with cleaning rooms and public areas as needed to ensure seamless service delivery
• Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to promptly action any guest requests or issues
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment and storage areas are clean, organized and well-maintained
• Champion workplace health and safety and ensure all team members follow proper procedures

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a luxury lodge or 5-star hotel
• Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to excellence
• Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a positive team culture
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Confident communication and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work a roster including weekends and public holidays
