MAIN DUTIES:
TheHousekeepingSupervisor willcoordinate all clerical and daily operational functions of the housekeeping department,maintaininga close relationship with all other departments to adhere to company policies and procedures. He/she willmaintainall department records; handle all phone calls and guestrequest, anddisseminate all information as needed while ensuring the safety and confidentiality of all guests.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards;anticipateand addressguests’ service needs.
Thank guestswith genuineappreciation. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Develop andmaintainpositive working relationships with others.
Supportteamto reach common goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
Enter andlocatework-related information using computers and electronic devices.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extendedperiod of time

Monitors Room, Public, and House Attendant performance to ensure proper quality, productivity andadherance tosafety procedures.

Complete requiredHousekeepingpaperwork, including reports, worksheets, activity logs, and checklists.
Contact Engineering, The Hive, Front Office, orHousekeepingoffice directly for urgent repairs.
Respond promptly to requests from guests, Front Desk, or The Hive requests.
Request preventative maintenance or non-urgent repairs usingappropriate method
Document and report outstanding issues that need to be handled to the manager/supervisor after shift is complete by email.
Check with theappropriate source(e.g.,Housekeepingoffice, manager/supervisor) foradditionalassignments throughout the shift.
Identifyroom assignments and type of cleaningrequiredfor each room based on codes listed on assignment sheets/workboards.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Previousrelated guest service experience dealing directly with the public andacquiredgeneral knowledge of basic customer service skills.
Passion for cleanliness and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate andcomprehendEnglish language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and answer basic guest requests and to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of guests and team members.
Ability to learn and work with technology including devices such as computers,iPodsand iPads.
Excellent time management skills and can work in a fast-paced environment.
An honest person witha high levelof integrity.
Good interpersonal skills.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 poundsfrequentlyand 25 pounds constantlySpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
Ability to effectively cope with change, handleriskand uncertainty comfortably, ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice while being composed under pressure. Does not show frustration when dealing with upset guests or team members.
Relates well to all kinds of people – up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization; buildsappropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
