
Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to manage the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Food and Beverage, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Knowledge in distributing room assignments to Housekeeping staff, manage deep cleaning programs and scheduling, work with electronic systems to prioritize and expedite guest rooms, and works with housekeeping inventory. Record, monitor, and update list of ‘Do Not Disturb' rooms and timely communication to guests and leaders. Closing shift and hand-over report.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Knowledge of Brand and Implementing Brand standards. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
This position requires to work am/ pm shifts, weekend, holidays, and participate in guest rooms cleaning. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience in hotel, preferably in Luxury hotels in Front Desk and Housekeeping exposure.
