About Universal Stella Nova Resort

This position is responsible for deep cleaning of hotel guest rooms according to Star Service standards. We provide the highest level of quality and service by extensively detailing all guest rooms.
WhatYou’llDo
Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas (e.g., carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, drapery steaming).
Inspect andmaintainfurniture, fixtures, and equipment; tighten screws, replace light bulbs, and report larger issues to Engineering.
Clean andmaintainvents, filters, and other components to ensure proper air quality and functionality.
Rotate mattresses, check bed frames, and ensure bedding meets brand standards.
Conduct periodic inspections for wear and tear; document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment when handling chemicals or tools.
Ensure compliance with LoewsHotels’standards and local health regulations.
Report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly to management.
Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and tools; request replenishment as needed.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering for room access and scheduling to minimize guest disruption.
Complete work orders and log maintenance activities accurately in property systems.
Respond courteously to guest inquiries during tasks; escalate service requests to theappropriate department
Maintain professionalism and discretion when working in occupied rooms.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance in alignment with company standards and operational needs.
Embrace flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.

Your Experience Includes
Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry required.
Previous deep cleaning or custodial experience preferred.
Familiarity with HOTSOS, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Floor Scrubbers, Ride on Floor Carpet Cleaner, Carpet Shampooers/Extractors preferred.
Must complete OSHA-mandated safety training within the first 30 days of employment.
Position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders, and guests.
Position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled. Position requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling 100+ pounds repetitively throughout shift.
Position requires the ability to withstand outdoor elements for long periods of time as needed.
