As the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department—creating a spotless environment that exceeds guest expectations while motivating a team to deliver their very best each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations for guestrooms, suites, and public areas.
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces regularly to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand compliance.
Communicate room readiness and status updates promptly with the Front Office team.
Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance based on business levels and occupancy.
Maintain inventory levels for supplies, linen, and equipment; oversee ordering and cost control measures.
Ensure all associates have the proper tools, uniforms, and training to perform effectively.
Coach, develop, and motivate team members, celebrating successes and recognizing outstanding performance.
Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback, and concerns, taking proactive steps to ensure guest satisfaction.
Implement and monitor housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety standards to protect guests and associates.
Support budget and expense management initiatives, aligning department operations with hotel financial goals.
Collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless guest experience.
Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a full-service or luxury hotel environment.
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse housekeeping team.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail and quality assurance.
Familiarity with Marriott systems preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
