About the Role
The Housekeeping Manager role is critical to the success of the business. As Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for creating a memorable guest experience, by providing the highest level of service, cleanliness and attention to detail across the national portfolio of properties. You will deliver best-in-class standards across all aspects of the role, with a continued focus on achieving consistency, quality and high standards, in line with budget and business needs.
You are responsible for planning, leading and controlling deliverables across the national portfolio of properties, while continually monitoring standards of cleanliness, costs and training. You will deliver our service philosophy at every opportunity, when communicating with all guests, clients, agents and suppliers over the phone or by email, and actively seek opportunities to inspire guests in order to create a memorable experience, by anticipating individual needs, exceeding expectations and building relationships. You will take responsibility for a variety of operational tasks, ensuring that Urban Rest (“UR”) standards are consistently delivered through training and team development within the Housekeeping department. You will thrive in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is paramount and have a strong understanding of departmental business needs while ensuring relevant state and national compliance is adhered to at all times.
