INTRODUCTION TO ROLE:
The Housekeeping Inspector reviews and inspects housekeeping and designated areas to ensure a positive guest experience. Responsible for providing close attention to detail and focusing on guest impact related to property standards.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

• Inspect rooms, verifying that designated areas exceed the standard, report status, and may report or update the system to ensure areas are guest-ready.
• Provides assistance in housekeeping, laundry, and houseman departments, including coaching, staff development, process improvements, and work support
• Assists in training new hires in the housekeeping, houseman, and laundry departments.
• Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action.
• Responds to guest requests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
• Examines the building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management
• Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest-ready.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Availability to work weekends, including holidays
• Provides regular and reliable attendance
WHAT YOU BRING:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry
• Supervisory experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and you may sometimes be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete them with the same enthusiasm and dedication as your regular job duties.
