What You'll Do:
The Housekeeping Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and presentation of standards for all rental units. This position is responsible for ensuring each unit meets cleanliness, stocking, and overall appearance expectations before guest arrival. The Inspector conducts detailed inspections, collaborates with housekeeping staff to address deficiencies, and helps expedite room readiness in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in high standards, and delivers professional, responsive service to both guests and team members. Qualified bilingual Spanish applicants may be eligible for a pay differential. Transitional housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedule may require weekends and holidays.
Starts at $22.00 - $25.00 per DOE
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect units thoroughly to ensure they meet established standards for cleanliness, organization, stocking, and overall presentation.
- Identify and address any deficiencies, ensuring rooms are guest-ready prior to arrival.
- Partner with Unit Cleansers to maintain quality standards and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assist with cleaning and retting units as needed to support efficient turnaround times.
- Complete and organize inspection reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Respond to guest needs or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of room supplies and report restocking needs.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency while upholding quality in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Uphold company service standards through professional conduct and attention to detail.
