  • Supervise, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure consistent service excellence and adherence to company policies
  • Respond promptly and empathetically to staff concerns and guest inquiries, resolving issues efficiently
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure they are hygienically clean, safe, and equipped with quality amenities
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize room downtime and coordinate room turnover priorities
  • Oversee mini bar management, inventory accuracy, and report irregularities, damages, and lost-and-found items to management
  • Establish and maintain detailed cleaning schedules for all public areas, ensuring consistent adherence to standards
  • Coordinate with the engineering department on maintenance issues and verify that all equipment and cleaning supplies are adequately stocked
  • Maintain inventory control of linen and uniforms through regular stock checks and monitor quality and condition, replacing worn items as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in staff scheduling, resource allocation, and team supervision
  • Strong inventory management and stock control capabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and data analysis
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Proven track record of supervising and managing housekeeping teams
  • Experience coordinating with maintenance and engineering departments
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Experience with guest-facing service and complaint resolution
