Delaware North New Zealand is hiring 2 Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are impeccably maintained, contributing to an unforgettable guest experience.

  • Permanent Full-time: 30 hours per week
  • Hourly Rate: $25.60 - $27.88 per hour
  • Rotating roster across Mon – Sun (between 12:00am-11:59pm)
  • 2 x Housekeeping Attendant positions available

What you will do?

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to resort standards, including linen changes and room setup
  • Follow cleaning checklists and promptly report maintenance or repair issues
  • Support housekeeping operations by managing supplies, stock levels, and safe chemical handling in line with OH&S and company policies
  • Deliver professional guest service by greeting guests, responding to requests, and escalating issues when required
  • Work collaboratively within the team, adhering to all policies, the Code of Conduct, and grooming standards
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture

More about you

  • Experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or resort accommodation setting (preferred not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with resort or hotel environments and guest interaction standards (beneficial)
  • OH&S, chemical handling, or infection control training (beneficial)
  • Willingness to undertake on-the-job training and skills development
