Traverse Alpine Group is seeking dedicated and reliable Housekeepers and Porters to join our team at Astra Falls Creek, an award-winning boutique ski hotel recognized 10 times as the Best Ski Boutique Hotel in Australia. In these roles, you will be instrumental in maintaining the outstanding standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest service that define our hotel's reputation.

Housekeepers Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management.
• Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and products.
• Assist with laundry duties as required.

Porters Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in hotel entrances and service areas.
• Support the housekeeping team with moving furniture or equipment as necessary.
• Perform other guest service tasks to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or porter roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving luggage and equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a welcoming guest environment.
