Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated house to assist our residents in daily living activities, creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive.

The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain private residences and commercial buildings. The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Housekeeper Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining a private residence or commercial building to make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements and provides a comfortable space for residents or employees.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Ironing clothing items
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Steaming and cleaning draperies
• Washing blinds
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacement housekeeper

Dishwasher Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are washed and sanitized according to strict health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and vents, ensuring everything is in top shape.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas spotless, organized, and ready for service.
• Assist our talented cook with meal prep, always considering our residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Help housekeepers serve meals and maintain a welcoming and clean dining area for residents.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in Cleaning and Sanitising rooms to varying levels to meet requirements, Willingness to Learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment, Ability to Adapt to Different Situations and Change Work Processes to accommodate customer needs, Ability to Take Criticism, Listening Skills to make sure that they are meeting the needs of their clients for cleanliness and sanitation standards, Good Customer Service skills, Reliability, Organizational skills, Integrity and Honesty, High Energy Levels.
  

What We Require:

• Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Negative TB Test and Health Screening
• In-person work location at Glen Park at Valley Village, located at 5527 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Valley Village, CA 91607.

Available Shifts:

• AM Shift 7am to 3:30pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) Dishwasher Friday(8:30AM to 7:30PM
• Flexibility required; schedule may vary based on business needs.
