Position Title: Housekeeper
Department: Operations
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager
Classification: Part time, Non-exempt
Compensation: $29.25 an hour
Please note that the Toyota Arena employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and a condition of employment is a union membership.
Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, performs general cleaning throughout the facility.
Desirable: At least one-year experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position.
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills/Knowledge of:
Safe work practices, General cleaning procedures.
Ability to:
Read, write, and speak English.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work in a team atmosphere.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
Skill to:
Operate radio devices.
Operate equipment, scrubbers (riding and walk behind), sweepers (riding), vacuums, etc.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Position requires walking and standing for most of the shift; may be subject to adverse conditions; may be required to work with hazardous substances; irregular hours may be required.
