Job Description:

Work Type: Part Time – 12 hours per week

Schedule: Typically weekdays during business hours

Join our team at Skenesborough Harbor located in Whitehall, New York , an affordable senior community providing 40 units We’re looking for a dependable Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas, including vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and mopping
• Cleaning vacant apartments and preparing them for new residents
• Cleaning and deodorizing bathrooms and replenishing supplies
• Emptying trash and maintaining cleanliness throughout the community
• Following established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining adequate cleaning supplies and notifying management when supplies are needed
• Reporting maintenance concerns or other issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests
• Completing required training and documentation
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
• Knowledge of janitorial equipment and cleaning procedures
• Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer or tablet skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company motor vehicle requirements
