Third Shift (Nights)

Environmental Conditions

Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

*Note: This is a full time, night shift role. 8-hr shifts with 1 required weekend night per week.

Discover Impactful Work:

Responsible for cleaning and organizing all areas of the facility in accordance with the Housekeeping Cleaning Log. Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials to perform duties. Reports all building deficiencies to the supervisor.

A day in the Life:

  • Cleans all areas of the facility as indicated. Documents a checklist that all required tasks have been completed.
  • Ensures all trash and cardboard boxes are collected and disposed of daily.
  • Oversees stock on all janitorial supplies, informing purchasing department when needing to replenish. Maintains cleanliness and organization of utility room.
  • Completes additional housekeeping duties, as needed to support special facilities projects.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Experience

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and procedures
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn, understand and follow OSHA regulations and bloodborne pathogens training
