This opening is for our Housekeeper Lead position. Employees could perform their work at any or all of our locations below depending on their manager's direction.

This position is specifically for 3rd Shift. You must be able to work our required schedule of Monday-Friday 10:30p-7:00a with rotating weekends and holidays to be considered. EVS Supervisor experience preferred.

Coordinates the tasks and duties of the housekeeping staff as set by management and ensures high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service. Provides a quality environment for patient care.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides on the job training for new employees. Serves as a role model and mentor to other housekeepers.
  • Performs quality control inspections. Cleans assigned areas as needed.
  • Assess staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
  • Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with engineering to address and resolve facility maintenance and service issues.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
  • Models proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures.
  • Effectively relates and interacts with patients, families, staff.


Education Requirement:

High School graduate or equivalent, required.


Skills:

  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
  • Strong leadership, effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.


Experience:

One year of housekeeping experience or service-related field with high customer or client contact, required.
