Job Description

ABOUT US

Hampshire Property Group is a leading provider of residential communities, holiday parks, and short-stay accommodation destinations across Australia and New Zealand. We specialise in creating welcoming tourist park environments that cater to holidaymakers, workers, and travellers seeking comfortable, flexible stays in beautiful natural settings. Our focus is on delivering high-quality guest experiences while preserving the environment and celebrating local culture.

Nestled in the heart of Heatherbrae, just 25 minutes from Newcastle and a short drive to the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, Heatherbrae Holiday Village is a thriving tourist park and short-stay accommodation destination. The village offers a diverse range of accommodation options including fully self-contained cabins, caravan and camping sites, and longer-term stays, catering to both holidaymakers and workforce guests.

We are currently looking for a casual Housekeeper to join our team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the high standards expected within a fast-paced tourist park and short-stay accommodation environment, including the cleaning of guest cabins, amenities, and shared facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional guest experiences within our short-stay accommodation and tourist park setting. You will be responsible for ensuring all guest accommodation and communal areas are presented to a high standard, supporting quick turnaround times between stays and contributing to the overall guest satisfaction.

Working in a dynamic, guest-focused environment, you will help ensure every visitor, whether staying for a night, a week, or longer, enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience.

The successful applicant must possess:

  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in preparing short-stay accommodation for incoming guests
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with regular guest turnover
  • The ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
  • Excellent personal presentation with a friendly and guest-focused attitude
  • A willingness to carry out various tasks as required across the tourist park
  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
  • Availability for an immediate start
  • Basic computer skills (preferred)

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
