Housekeeper (Full-Time)

Desert Springs Post Acute (Soon to Be Willow Springs Post Acute)

Pay: $17.48-$19.00 per hour, DOE

Desert Springs Post Acute, soon to be Willow Springs Post Acute, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces throughout the facility
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility policies
  • Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
  • Report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns to the appropriate department
  • Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good working order
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
  • Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, and visitors

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare, hospitality, or long-term care settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping carts
