Job Title: Housekeeper

Department: Housekeeping

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper

MAIN DUTIES:

ROOM ATTENDANT AM

  1. Clean the assign rooms thoroughly, making the necessary arrangement in guest rooms and replenishing linen and guest supplies.
  2. Clean and store all the equipment in its proper place.
  3. Ensure that all the offices in each floor where all the linen and towels are well arrange.

PUBLIC AREAS CLEANER

  1. Pays particular attention to busy areas such as elevators inside and outside, toilets, entrance doors, lobby, restaurant, and functional rooms.
  2. Ensure that all the meetings and special events held in the hotel must be check and control.
  3. Control and fulfill the special tasks.
  4. Control and fulfill the weekly and yearly cleaning plan.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness of the entire hotel and the housekeeping areas.

LAUNDRY AREA

  1. Collect dirty uniforms and provide clean uniform to designated hotel personnel as per department specifications.
  2. Legibly document information on uniform slips and distribute accurately or scan the uniform in to the department.
  3. Legibly document and coordinate guest and hotel management laundry/dry cleaning and hotel uniforms.
  4. Inspect condition, charges and amount of cleaned items against original morning inventory.
  5. Organize all cleaned laundry/dry cleaning and uniforms into the designate racks. Scan the uniforms into the system.
  6. Monitor and maintain the order and clean condition of the uniform.
  7. Fulfill the guest request for pressing and minor repairs of clothes as assigned.
  8. Monitor and maintain designated supply level.
  9. Handle complaints by following the instant pacification procedures, ensuring guest satisfaction.

TURNDOWN

  1. Turn down the assign rooms thoroughly, making the necessary arrangement in the guest rooms and replenishing linen and guest supplies.
  2. Register and control all the amenities for turndown such as kimono, departure gifts, water consumed and guest’s preference.
  3. Know the details in setting up the room such as setting up the lights and amenities and making up the bed.
  4. Attends to the guest’s requests and queries courteously and promptly in the course of duty.
  5. Clean and store the trolley, arrange the cleaning materials and amenities in their designated area.

OPERATIONAL:

  1. Report any damage to the Housekeeping supervisors for action and follow-up.
  2. Ability to fulfill the request of the guest, group, repeated and VIP clients.
  3. Turn over lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper or to the Manager on duty.
  4. Maintain the confidentiality of the hotels guest.

OTHER DUTIES:

  1. Report on duty punctually and wear the proper uniform.
  2. Attend the afternoon Line-ups at the beginning of the shift.
  3. Understand the fire and safety procedures.
  4. Follow any duties that the housekeeping supervisor may assign.
