Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service.

### Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Properly handle and document lost-and-found items.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

### Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment as required.

### Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and may include weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings depending on the hotel's operational needs.
