MorseLife by the Numbers
Short-Term Rehabilitation, Hospice, Home Health, PACE, and Community-Based Services
Cleans resident apartments, public bathrooms, offices, halls, trash rooms, stairways. elevators, and other areas by performing the following duties.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Disinfects equipment and supplies and keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.Maintains cleaning equipment in proper working condition and reports on equipment and/or furniture in need of repair.Cleans unoccupied apartments thoroughly; performs duties such as mopping floors, vacuuming; cleans and washes washroom fixtures; cleans mirrors and inside windows.Cleans occupied residents' rooms including vacuuming and mopping and maintaining resident kitchens, bathrooms, and balcony in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.Cleans other areas such as offices, workrooms, lobbies, classrooms, laundry room, and restrooms if assigned.Dusts resident furniture, woodwork, door panels, and sills.Cleans rugs and carpets. Dust mops and wet mops floors: vacuums carpets and rugs.Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.Ability to manage time effectively and reprioritize assigned tasks as needed within one hour.Attends in-service programs and meetings as required.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
