Nexus Neurorecovery Center – San Antonio is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and team members.
Our San Antonio program provides specialized residential care for adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional needs. Housekeeping plays an important role in creating the structured, therapeutic environment our residents need to heal and grow. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting, and enjoys being part of a team with a meaningful mission.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas throughout the facility. Responsibilities include:

This is an active position that regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Housekeepers work with cleaning equipment, water, chemicals, and potentially infectious materials and must follow all applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
The position carries a Group One Personnel Exposure Risk for potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Required training, precautions, and personal protective equipment will be provided in accordance with facility policies.
Tuberculosis screening and required facility training/certifications must be completed and maintained in accordance with Nexus requirements.
