Compensation: $16.98 - $19.10 / hour
Schedule: Part Time | 16 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

What You'll Do In This Role:
As a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home. Working under the guidance of the Community Manager, you'll help ensure every space is comfortable, inviting, and well cared for by performing daily housekeeping duties in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of residents, team members, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as assigned, utilizing effective time management techniques.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, fixtures, and kitchens in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, walls, carpets, and rugs.
Other Cleaning Tasks:
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bathrooms by cleaning fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring community cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Remove and properly dispose of waste, reline trash receptacles, and organize and replenish housekeeping supplies throughout the community.
- Perform a variety of routine and special cleaning tasks, including cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces, preparing vacant rooms, and responding to emergency cleaning needs as assigned.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure that caution signs are placed appropriately during floor cleaning and removed once the area is safe.
- Comply with all infection control and safety standards to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors to meet cleaning needs and resolve any concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the community’s cleanliness and functionality are maintained.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in ongoing training and adhere to Brio Living Services policies, mission, and values.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, ensuring residents feel safe and comfortable.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
