The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospitalremainsclean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.As a member of this team, the main dutieswill be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.
The EVSTech Iis responsible forexecuting the daily duties required toestablishand maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should beappropriate tothe specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas.
Responsible for ensuringtimelyroom turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.
The Environmental Services Technician,in accordance withorganizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infectionprevention,and patient experience.
Requirements:
Environmental Services, Customer Service, or Hospitality experience preferred
