Job Description

We are hiring a Housekeeper on behalf of a respected employer based in Montenegro and Croatia The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various hospitality environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean, organized, and comfortable living spaces for guests or residents.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and workspaces following established procedures.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a high level of cleanliness.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels to maintain a fresh and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and manage recycling materials.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when restocking is needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Respond promptly to guest or resident requests for housekeeping services.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues encountered during cleaning activities.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training in housekeeping is a plus).
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper, Cleaner, or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow cleaning protocols.
  • Knowledge of basic safety and sanitation procedures.

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Montenegro and Croatia
  • Full-time, seasonal contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Primary work locations include hotels, residential buildings, or healthcare facilities.
  • One day off per week.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: 600 - 1000 EUR per month (based on experience).
  • Accommodation provided.
  • Daily meals included.
  • Transportation provided (at least one-way).
  • Work permit assistance available.
