Job Description

About HUM Homes

HUM Homes is a boutique household staffing and home operations company that partners with thoughtful families who want their homes to run with the same level of intention, care, and excellence that they bring to their professional lives.

We work with founders, operators, creatives, and leaders who deeply value their families but whose lives are often full and demanding. Our role is to help build the operational support that allows their households to run smoothly, calmly, and sustainably.

The families we serve are not looking for traditional “staff.” They are looking for trusted partners who can bring structure, reliability, and calm to their homes while respecting the culture and rhythms of family life.

Our clients are thoughtful, engaged, and committed to building respectful, long-term relationships with the professionals who support their homes. At HUM Homes, we are equally committed to supporting both the families we serve and the house managers we place, ensuring everyone has the structure, communication, and guidance needed to succeed.

Our goal is simple: connect exceptional home professionals with families who truly value the work of creating a well-run home.

About the Household

A thoughtful, private family in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced House Manager who can quietly oversee the daily flow of their home.

The household includes:

  • Two parents balancing professional work and homeschooling responsibilities

  • Four homeschooled children (ages 5–11)

  • One Bernedoodle

The right candidate will step in as the operational backbone of the home during daytime hours, ensuring the household runs smoothly without disrupting the family's rhythms.
