Oversees patient care activities as well as operational activities for assigned facility. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years nursing experience. Leadership and management abilities.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS–Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 1 year of date of hire or transfer date into position
