Job Title: House Supervisor - Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Location: Geelong / VIC

Employment Type: Part-time with a flexible roster including sleepovers and weekends

About the role:


As the House Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of high quality care and support for participants within a residential setting. You will ensure services are delivered in line with organisational requirements, NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant legislative obligations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Disability Support Workers in an accommodation setting
  • Managing the daily operations of support services
  • Working closely with participants’ care teams, including allied health professionals, to ensure care plans are implemented effectively and supports meet required standards
  • Reviewing and updating participant documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Inducting new support staff
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions with support staff
  • Addressing team conflict and managing performance concerns in line with policy and procedure
  • Participating in staff meetings, supervision, and training
  • Identifying, reporting, and following up workplace health and safety matters
  • Managing and reporting incidents in line with NDIS and organisational requirements
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required

What You Will Need to Succeed:

We are seeking a reliable and values driven professional committed to delivering safe, person centred supports. You will have prior experience in disability services and a sound understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and participant safeguarding obligations.

Key selection criteria:

  • 1–2 years’ leadership experience in residential disability, SIL, or aged care settings preferred
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Community Services, or Nursing experience desirable
  • Strong understanding of the complex needs of people with disability
  • Knowledge and experience delivering services in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
  • Effective time management and task planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current driver licence & minimum third party insurance
