The casino houseperson maintains cleanliness and sanitation in hotel rooms, public areas, and restrooms, supporting the guest room attendants by hauling trash, transporting clean linen, and replenishing amenities.
Responsible for moving heavy supplies and equipment as needed.
Pull linen and trash shoots daily.
Stock housekeeping carts with linen and cleaning supplies. Sanitize public spaces within the hotel such as the lobby and restrooms to including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning mirrors.
Remove soiled linen and trash from guest rooms, delivering clean linen to the guest room attendants.
Perform heavy cleaning duties such as washing windows, polishing floors, and high dusting.
Deliver guest amenities to rooms.
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year janitorial and/or housekeeping experience
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, walk, stand and bend.
Must be able to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
Must have good oral communication skills.
Must be able to use standard housekeeping equipment.
