Requirements:
We are a busy, dynamic family of five, balancing demanding careers as entrepreneurs while raising three energetic children. Both of us work full-time running our own business, with rare at-home workdays. Our home is full of energy as we focus on living a healthy, active lifestyle and are involved in our local church community. We have three kids—ages 8, 5, and 2—and they keep us on our toes with their extracurricular activities, including soccer, flag football, and dance class.
We thrive on creating structure and stability for our kids, ensuring their schedules are organized and their appointments and extracurricular activities, appointments and playdates run smoothly. We also have a 40 lb Goldendoodle who’s a big part of the family, and we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable caring for them as well.
We value clear, direct communication in our household and need someone who can communicate in the same way—logical, straightforward, and efficient. We want someone who can think ahead, manage both the small tasks and the bigger picture, and adapt to our communication style. If you’re the type of person who enjoys taking initiative, staying organized, and making life run more smoothly, we’d love for you to join our family.
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong sense of initiative. You are someone who can lead the structure of the kids' afternoon activities, managing their schedules with ease while anticipating needs before they arise. You understand what’s required to keep a busy home running smoothly and can step in to handle tasks without needing to be asked.
Strong technical skills are also important in this role. You should be comfortable navigating and troubleshooting the tools that keep a modern family organized, including shared digital calendars, calendar syncing, Skylight Calendar, invitations, and other scheduling platforms. You will help create transparency across work schedules, school calendars, kids’ activities, appointments, and family commitments so everyone stays aligned and informed.
For example, you’ll think ahead about healthy snacks, communicate clearly with other parents about kids' activities, keep household tasks organized and efficient, and make sure schedules and calendars accurately reflect what is happening across the family. We need a direct communicator who can integrate seamlessly into our routines while managing day-to-day logistics, including organizing kids’ schedules, meal planning for the family, and maintaining an organized home.
While backup childcare may be needed occasionally, your ability to manage and collaborate with our nanny on the kids’ activities and daily to-dos—sports, school, playdates, and more—is essential. We’re looking for someone who can “duplicate our brain” and ensure everything runs smoothly, from school logistics and scheduling to keeping the family’s organizational systems current and connected.
You’ll play a key role in helping us navigate busy afternoons, school events, and family-related needs, making sure everything is handled efficiently without needing constant supervision.
