About Our Family
We are a warm, busy family with two full-time working parents looking for a dedicated House Manager & Family Assistant to become a trusted and valued part of our home. We have two young children, ages 3½ and 1½, and are looking for someone who can help bring organization, consistency, and structure to our daily routines. As we settle into our new home, we’re looking for someone who enjoys creating thoughtful systems, anticipating needs, and taking ownership of the many details that keep family life running smoothly.
This role combines household management with meaningful childcare support. While this is not a full-time nanny position, caring for our children is an important part of the role. Responsibilities include school pickups, engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, preparing snacks and meals, supporting bath and bedtime routines, and helping maintain organized children’s spaces, clothing, toys, and supplies. We’re looking for someone who creates a warm, nurturing environment while providing the consistency and structure that help young children thrive.
Our family values kindness, reliability, initiative, and open communication. We hope to find someone who is warm with children, highly organized, and confident taking ownership of their responsibilities while respecting our family’s routines and parenting style. Above all, we’re looking for a trusted long-term partner who enjoys making life easier for others and takes pride in creating a calm, well-organized home where our family can thrive.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For
You are dependable, organized, and proactive, with a natural ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. You enjoy creating systems, thinking ahead, and taking ownership of the many details that help a busy household run smoothly. You communicate clearly, exercise good judgment, and are equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with the family.
You genuinely enjoy spending time with young children and have experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children. You are patient, engaging, and attentive, with the ability to create a safe, nurturing environment while balancing warmth, consistency, and age-appropriate expectations. You understand that supporting children also means helping keep their routines, belongings, and daily needs organized.
You enjoy the variety that comes with a House Manager & Family Assistant role and are comfortable balancing childcare, meal preparation, household organization, laundry, errands, and the many behind-the-scenes responsibilities that keep a home running efficiently. Most importantly, you’re someone who takes pride in building a trusted, long-term relationship with the family you support and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
