Start Date: As soon as possible
We are a warm, active family who values a home that feels peaceful, connected, and welcoming. Our days can move quickly, especially during the after-school stretch, and we are looking for someone who can naturally step into the flow of our household and help things feel a little easier. We have two energetic school-aged children who do best with adults who are warm, playful, and encouraging, along with a large, high-energy dog who is very much part of the family.
We care about living a healthy, thoughtful lifestyle and creating a positive environment at home. We enjoy cooking, spending time together, and keeping things organized in a way that supports the rhythm of family life. We appreciate someone who is naturally aligned with that approach and who brings a warm, easygoing energy to the household.
Our schedules can change from week to week, particularly when work and travel shift the balance of responsibilities at home. During those busier stretches, having someone who can look around, understand what would make the biggest difference, and simply take care of it is incredibly valuable. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who becomes a trusted part of our household, helps keep everyone moving in the right direction, and gives the family a little more room to breathe at the end of the day.
You are the kind of person who naturally notices what needs to happen next. You are intuitive, capable, and self-directed, and you take initiative without needing to be asked. You can look at everything happening around you, prioritize what matters most, and jump in wherever you can be helpful. You take pride in being someone a family can truly rely on.
You genuinely enjoy being around children and bring a warm, playful energy to your work. You know how to connect with kids without being overly authoritative, and you can make everyday routines feel lighter and more fun while still helping children follow through on their responsibilities. You are comfortable in the kitchen, enjoy preparing healthy homemade food, are confident around a large dog, and are happy to pitch in wherever you are needed.
Most importantly, you are flexible by nature and understand that family life does not always fit neatly into the same schedule every week. You can stay calm when plans shift, adapt to what the day requires, and bring a positive attitude to busy moments. You are reliable, enthusiastic, communicative, and genuinely interested in becoming a trusted support person for the family and a positive presence in the children's lives.
