We're a busy, warm household based in Austin — a working couple with a young toddler, two dogs (a big, lovable lab and a spirited little Chihuahua), and a home that moves at a good pace. One of us works primarily in an office, while the other is fully remote and home most days, which means the house is lived in and active. We've built out a great team to support our household — a full-time nanny, a personal chef, and a weekly deep cleaning crew — and now we're looking to add the final, essential piece: a house manager who owns the day-to-day rhythm of the home. We're a household that values calm, order, and intention. We love a well-organized, clutter-free environment (think: just-in-time restocking, not stockpiling), and we appreciate someone who brings that same philosophy to their work without being asked.
We truly value long-term relationships with the people who become part of our household. Our previous house manager was with us for many years, and we’d love to find someone who is looking for that same kind of lasting fit—someone who wants to grow with our family, feel valued and appreciated, and take genuine pride in helping our home run smoothly.
We’d especially love someone who is naturally organized, systems-minded, and comfortable with technology. Someone who enjoys creating simple routines, keeping track of the little details, and finding thoughtful ways to make everyday life easier and more organized, and making things not only function beautifully, but look great while doing it.
If you’re the kind of person who loves a beautifully organized space, gets a little satisfaction from labeling shelves, color-coding a closet, or turning a cluttered area into something calm and polished, you’ll probably feel right at home with us. More than anything, we’re hoping to find someone who will care for our home with pride and become a trusted, valued part of our household for years to come.
