Job Description

As a House Manager, you’ll play a vital role in creating welcoming, well-run residences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll supervise staff, ensure members’ health and safety, and bring energy and compassion to every home you oversee. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Mentor – Hire, train, and supervise direct support staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ensure Quality Living – Oversee daily operations, budgets, and household needs, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Support Health & Safety – Monitor medical needs, emergency preparedness, infection control, and medication administration.
  • Be a Problem-Solver – Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and keep things running smoothly.
  • Champion Community Inclusion – Plan and support activities that connect members to their community.
  • Collaborate & Communicate – Work closely with families, staff, and community partners, while maintaining accurate documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a CILA home setting
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Must be already be DSP certified and on HealthCare Worker Registry
  • Must pass the TABE test and maintain authorization to pass medications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
