About the Role
Lead the day-to-day running of an Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) home in Tamworth. Provide direct support to young people, guide staff, and ensure therapeutic care, safety, and compliance.

This role includes 36 hours face-to-face support plus 2 hours administration weekly.

🫶 What You’ll Be Doing:
• Deliver trauma-informed care aligned to case and behaviour plans
• Oversee household operations including budgets, audits, and WHS
• Lead and coach Therapeutic Youth Workers to model best practice
• Support culturally safe care and connection to community and culture
• Ensure compliance with PSP, OCG standards, and governance frameworks

💼 What You’ll Bring:
• Diploma in Community Services (or related field)
• 2+ years working with young people in OOHC or residential care
• Knowledge of PSP, 10 Essential Elements, and child protection law
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and coaching skills
• Current unrestricted driver’s license and probity clearances

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
