Job Description

Aquarius is a national charity focused on overcoming the harms caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling by supporting individuals and their families. One of our projects, Aquarius Homes, is a supported housing for those aged 18+ who have experience of the care system. We provide holistic, wrap-around support to enable them to achieve their potentials with 3 homes situated in the Sheldon/Yardley area of Birmingham

Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England.

Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

of Tasks:

· Lead by example and support young people to learn life skills

· Create a warm and friendly home environment

· Maintain a clean space

· Facilitate training and workshops

Time commitment:

Minimum 4 hours / week

Training and support:

· Mandatory volunteer induction training

· Project induction workshop

· Group work training

· Named supervisor

· Regular supervision
