What You’ll Do
Works independently to address management, personnel, facility, and clinical issues that arise on evening, night and weekend hours in all hospital departments on the east and west campus.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a resource for staff in resolving issues that arise during their shift.
Addresses customer concerns, complaints, and ensures compliance with customer service initiatives.
Makes rounds throughout the buildings addressing management, risk/safety, clinical or personnel issues.
Maintains order and discipline in the facility ensuring that staff are addressing patient needs, accomplishing the work in their departments, and following protocols and procedures (drug free workplace, work injury, clinical, ethical, etc.).
Collaborates with other managers about personnel, management, risk/safety, and clinical issues that arise on the managers unit.
Utilizes Administrative call structure consulting with Administrator on Call or Clinical on Call for required and/or unusual occurrences.
Acts as patient flow coordinator and problem solves throughput issues with units, including coordination of diversion activities.
Requirements
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or other clinical discipline with appropriate experience.
If RN, current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other clinical discipline and/or management preferred
