JOB TITLE:
House Manager - Music (Fine Arts Outreach)
JOB PURPOSE:
The House Manager role is an important one, because they are responsible for the comfort and safety of the audience before, during, and after a performance. The House Manager is responsible for supervising Front of House and working with the Box Office during an actual production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Checking the house before and after productions;
· Audience control;
· Assisting in the Box Office (including Will Call assistance the Box Office during the production);
· Supervising the ushers;
· Seating patrons as needed (especially patrons with ADA needs and the elderly)
· Coordinating show start/end and intermissions with the Stage Manager;
· Dealing with emergency situations (see separate emergency protocol document).
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED Experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience in a customer service
· Prior management experience
