Janitorial Site Supervisor – Day Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Location: Nashville, TN (Close to John C. Tune Airport)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

About the Role

We are seeking a Janitorial Site Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations at our facility near John C. Tune Airport. In this role, you will oversee on-site general cleaners, ensure high standards of quality and safety, train team members, manage supplies, and coordinate closely with facility contacts and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision & Training: Directly supervise hourly cleaners, execute daily work schedules, assign zones, and train staff on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, equipment use, PPE, and site protocols.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Inspect completed work regularly, maintain inspection logs, follow up on deficiencies, and lead daily/weekly safety huddles to enforce OSHA and company compliance.
• Operations & Client Support: Coordinate specialized projects (floor care, carpet extraction, window cleaning) and communicate professionally with clients and management to address concerns quickly.
• Administrative & Inventory Control: Track supply inventory, ensure proper chemical dilution and labeling, request equipment repairs, and submit time worked in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Background Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Background Check & Screening: Must be able to pass a standard drug screen and background check prior to employment.
• Skills: Ability to follow detailed written/oral instructions, basic knowledge of janitorial principles, and ability to track supply counts and numbers.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Work Environment: Moderate noise level; potential exposure to standard cleaning chemicals and conditions.
